Therapist workflow
Home programme generator for therapists
Build a week of home activities a parent can fit into an existing routine, with the time it takes and what to do when it goes badly.

HOME PRACTICE PLAN WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON Using two-word phrases to ask for what he wants WHAT TO DO Offer two choices and wait five seconds before helping WHEN During snack time, 2 times a day, about 5 minutes each time, 5 days a week. That is roughly 50 minutes across the whole week, less than a single therapy session. WHAT TO LOOK FOR Any attempt at a second word, even if unclear WHAT NOT TO DO Don't ask him to repeat after you more than twice. It turns practice into pressure IF IT IS NOT GOING WELL Stop and come back to it later. A short successful attempt is worth more than a long frustrating one. If your child refuses three days running, leave it and tell us at the next session. The step is probably too big, and that is useful information, not a failure. WHAT TO TELL US NEXT SESSION Roughly how many days you managed, and one thing that surprised you.
How it works
- Attach each activity to a routine that already happens: "during snack time", not "practise for 20 minutes daily".
- State the weekly total. Seeing it adds up to less than one session makes it feel possible.
- Say what not to do, and when to stop. Most programmes fail through over-correction, and a parent told when to stop comes back with information.
Keep goals, notes and reports in one record
In Theraflow, each child's goals, session notes and progress reports sit together, so a covering therapist starts with the full history.
